Job Overview
IRecruiters Africa is hiring a smart, persuasive, and customer-focused Customer Sales Representative for a leading event management and rental services company in Lagos.
The company has a dedicated team of decorators, event planners, and designers focused on creating memorable experiences for its clients. The successful candidate will work alongside the customer service team to generate sales, respond to customer inquiries, convert leads, and build strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries through phone calls, social media, email, and walk-in visits.
- Promote the company’s event management services, rental solutions, and packages to prospective customers.
- Generate qualified leads and convert inquiries into sales opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships before, during, and after events.
- Prepare quotations and invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Assist customers in selecting suitable event solutions based on their needs and budgets.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth event planning and execution.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
- Follow up with existing customers to generate repeat business and referrals.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the company’s revenue growth.
- Provide professional and responsive customer service throughout the sales process.
Requirements
- Minimum of OND, HND, or B.Sc in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service, sales, front desk operations, or a related position.
- Previous experience in event management, hospitality, or a service-based company is an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media communication tools.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple client requests.
- Strong customer-focused and results-oriented approach.
Compensation
The position offers a salary range of ₦120,000 – ₦200,000 per month, with a ₦120,000 monthly net base salary, plus ₦100,000+ sales commission and other benefits.
