Job Overview
IRecruiters Africa is recruiting a smart, persuasive, and customer-focused Customer Sales Representative for a leading event management and rental service company in Lagos.
The company has a passionate team of decorators, event planners, and designers dedicated to creating memorable experiences for clients. The successful candidate will work closely with the customer service team to generate sales, respond to inquiries, convert leads, and build lasting customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer inquiries through phone calls, social media, email, and walk-in visits.
- Promote the company’s event management services, rental solutions, and packages to prospective customers.
- Generate qualified leads and convert inquiries into sales.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients before, during, and after events.
- Prepare quotations and invoices and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Help customers select suitable event solutions based on their requirements and budgets.
- Coordinate with internal teams to support smooth event planning and execution.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities.
- Follow up with existing customers to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Meet assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business growth.
- Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a professional attitude.
Requirements
- Minimum of OND, HND, or B.Sc in Marketing, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or a related discipline.
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service, sales, front desk, or a related role.
- Experience in event management, hospitality, or another service-based industry is an added advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and social media communication tools.
- Smart appearance and professional attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple customer requests efficiently.
- Strong customer-focused and sales-oriented mindset.
Compensation
₦120,000 – ₦200,000 per month, including a ₦120,000 monthly net base salary, sales commissions of ₦100,000+, and other benefits.
