One of Nigeria’s most aggressive and fastest-growing retail banks is expanding its branch network and urgently seeking proven Branch Managers to lead high-performing retail sales teams in Abuja, Benue-Plateau, Ondo, Bayelsa, Anambra, and Gombe.

You will own full P&L responsibility for your branch, drive aggressive deposit mobilization, grow the retail loan book, and deliver exceptional customer experience while building a legacy team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve and exceed aggressive branch targets for deposits, retail loans, and digital acquisition
  • Build and maintain a premium retail & SME customer portfolio
  • Lead, coach, and performance-manage a team of 8–15 Relationship Managers and Account Officers
  • Execute high-impact marketing and customer activation strategies in your territory
  • Conduct regular customer visits and relationship deepening activities
  • Ensure 100% compliance with CBN regulations, KYC, and internal policies
  • Deliver accurate, timely, and insightful branch performance reports
  • Drive digital banking adoption and fee income growth

Required Qualification and Skills

  • First Degree in Banking & Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years banking experience, with at least 3 years in Retail Sales / Branch Leadership role
  • Proven track record of consistently meeting/exceeding retail banking targets
  • Deep knowledge of the local market in your preferred location
  • Strong leadership presence – you command respect and get results through people
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking core systems
  • Professional certification (CIBN, ICAN, ACCA) is a strong advantage
