KNCV Tuberculosis Foundation Nigeria is recruiting a Senior Delft Light Case Finding Associate to lead mobile digital chest radiography under its Active TB Case Finding (ACF) and Contact Investigation operations across Cross River State. This mission-critical role contributes directly to early TB detection and immediate linkage to GeneXpert/TB LAM confirmation, supporting the foundation’s global objective to curb the spread of TB and drug-resistant disease.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead community engagement and mobilization activities to drive ACF demand
  • Screen and prepare clients for digital mobile x-ray while ensuring full radiation safety
  • Capture high-quality chest radiographs, keeping repeat rates ≤2% and visit time ≤2.5 minutes per client
  • Ensure safe storage, retrieval, and proper documentation of all imaging records
  • Order/collect sputum from presumptive individuals and support cold-chain transport for rapid testing
  • Serve as Radiation Safety Officer (RSO), maintain dosimetry logs and safety compliance
  • Maintain the Delft Light/portable x-ray unit, manage radiological supplies, and report faults promptly
  • Train new team members and support quality improvement for imaging workflows
  • Coordinate closely with Laboratory Advisor/Senior Program Officer and broader ACF team
  • Support reporting and basic health data integrity for rapid diagnosis, linkage, and follow-up

Required Qualification and Skills

  • Science Degree or graduate of Medical Radiology / X-ray Tech program, or equivalent health technology training
  • Valid X-ray Tech certificate/license is a strong plus
  • 2–4 years experience in public health or TB-focused programs
  • Proven hands-on experience with community TB, TB/HIV, MDR TB, and field operations in Nigeria
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams, coach/train, and maintain service quality under tight schedules
  • Strong track record coordinating multi-stakeholder community interventions
  • Solid record-keeping and basic health data management skills
  • Commitment to safety, precision, and quality imaging standards
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and reliable follow-through
