Job Description

CEOIL is recruiting Independent Field Research Agents to support a short-term agricultural market intelligence project across Abia, Anambra, Enugu, Cross River, and Rivers States. The role involves on-ground data collection in rural and semi-urban markets, capturing commodity availability, pricing, sourcing patterns, and logistics insights while maintaining strict confidentiality under an NDA.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field research in assigned markets and locations
• Engage relevant market participants such as farmers, aggregators, and traders
• Collect accurate data on supply availability, price ranges, and commodity movement patterns
• Submit structured reports within agreed timelines
• Maintain strict confidentiality of project details and comply with NDA requirements

Required Qualification and Skills

• Strong familiarity with assigned state(s) and local agricultural markets
• Prior experience in field research, agricultural sourcing, or market surveys (preferred)
• Ability to communicate in English and relevant local languages
• Smartphone literacy (digital forms, photos, and location sharing)
• High integrity, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information
