Zetatech (Sinotech – China’s leading publicly listed energy storage giant) is expanding aggressively in Nigeria and urgently seeking hands-on Technical Engineers for Port Harcourt and Kano.
You will be the face of Sinotech on the ground – installing, commissioning, and supporting cutting-edge lithium battery energy storage systems (BESS), inverters, and BMS/EMS for telecoms, commercial & industrial clients.

This is a field-intensive, customer-facing role with massive growth potential in Nigeria’s fastest-growing renewable energy segment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on-site installation, commissioning, and testing of lithium energy storage systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical faults (remote + on-site)
  • Deliver professional training to clients and their operators
  • Develop simple, localized training materials and SOPs
  • Act as the critical feedback loop between Nigerian field reality and Sinotech HQ in China
  • Coordinate spare parts logistics and local service partners
  • Ensure 100% compliance with Nigerian electrical standards and Sinotech safety protocols

Required Qualification and Skills

  • BSc or HND in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Power Systems, Renewable Energy
  • 1–2 years hands-on experience with:
    → Solar inverters / UPS / Battery systems / Energy storage / Power electronics
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively within region
  • Fluent in written & spoken English
  • Strong customer-facing skills – you will deal directly with MDs and technical teams
  • Experience with Chinese/international brands is a strong advantage
  • Ready to work in Port Harcourt or Kano (2 openings – 1 per location)
