Zetatech (Sinotech – China’s publicly listed energy storage powerhouse) is aggressively scaling its Nigerian operations and urgently needs a Sales Manager in Port Harcourt to drive field sales of photovoltaic modules, lithium battery energy storage systems, and new energy products. This is a high-earning, volume-driven role where your hustle directly determines your income. If you know the Nigerian solar market inside-out and can sell face-to-face with distributors, installers, and end-users – this role pays up to ₦700,000 monthly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies for photovoltaic, energy storage, and new energy products across the Nigerian market
  • Identify and acquire customers through street promotions, cold visits, retail store visits, and proactive prospecting
  • Target distributors, installers, project developers, and end-users across Rivers, South-South, and beyond
  • Maintain and grow existing dealer channels through regular visits, product display oversight, and dealer training
  • Scout and onboard new distribution partners and drive initial partnership discussions
  • Understand customer needs and deliver professional product recommendations and tailored solutions
  • Ensure exceptional after-sales follow-up to drive satisfaction and repeat business
  • Monitor Nigerian solar/energy storage market trends, competitor pricing, and government policy updates
  • Submit regular market intelligence reports to management
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and logistics teams for seamless execution

Required Qualification and Skills

  • 1–3 years of proven offline/field sales experience in solar energy, photovoltaic systems, energy storage, or related new energy products
  • Demonstrated track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets (preferably in Nigeria)
  • Strong face-to-face communication and negotiation skills
  • Fluent in English + at least one major local language (Hausa, Yoruba, or Igbo)
  • Resilient, self-motivated, and comfortable with outdoor fieldwork and non-office environments
  • Basic digital literacy (CRM, email, WhatsApp for Business, etc.)
  • Deep knowledge of the Nigerian solar/PV market landscape, key players, and pricing
  • Own vehicle or willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory
