Jhpiego is urgently seeking a highly experienced Gender Analysis Data Analyst for the Global Fund GC8 Technical Assistance Project. This senior consultancy role will analyze qualitative and quantitative data from Anambra and Jigawa States to produce the final Gender Analysis report that will directly shape Nigeria’s next multi-million-dollar Global Fund grant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop codebook and code 55 Key Informant Interviews + 8 Focus Group Discussions
  • Conduct in-depth qualitative analysis using Jhpiego’s Gender Analysis Framework
  • Analyze quantitative survey data with sex, age, and geographical disaggregation
  • Produce high-quality frequency tables, thematic reports, and visual data summaries
  • Lead the writing of the final Gender Analysis Study Report
  • Participate in pre- and post-analysis technical meetings
  • Ensure strict confidentiality and ethical handling of all sensitive data

Required Qualification and Skills

  • MSc in Sociology, Public Health, Epidemiology, Health Sciences Research or related field
  • 5–10 years proven experience in qualitative and quantitative data analysis
  • Demonstrated expertise in Gender Analysis (previous Global Fund/USAID gender studies strongly preferred)
  • Strong maternal health (SRMNCAH), HIV, TB, or malaria program experience
  • Advanced skills in NVivo, Dedoose, ATLAS.ti or similar for qualitative analysis
  • Expert in SPSS, STATA, or R for quantitative analysis
  • Proven track record of writing donor-level technical reports
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Available for 12 non-consecutive days within 1 month
