The British Council is offering a 12-month Executive Internship opportunity in Lagos for recent graduates to provide high-level operational and administrative support to the Director of Examinations, Nigeria, and the Exams Leadership Team. This role offers valuable exposure to executive support, stakeholder coordination, scheduling, internal communications, and logistical management within a fast-paced international education environment.

Key Responsibilities for Executive Internship

  • Provide operational and administrative support to the Director of Examinations and the Nigeria Exams Leadership Team
  • Manage stakeholder correspondence across internal and external partners
  • Handle scheduling, coordination, and logistics for internal meetings and workshops
  • Support monitoring and tracking of various business initiatives and action points
  • Assist with internal communications and preparation of executive documentation
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all executive interactions
  • Contribute to improving administrative processes and operational efficiency

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • BSc/HND in any discipline (Business Administration, Secretarial Studies, or related fields preferred)
  • Must have completed NYSC with discharge or exemption certificate
  • Maximum of 3 years post-NYSC experience
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail
  • Existing right to live and work in Nigeria
