The British Council is offering a 12-month internship for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience supporting Exams marketing activities in Lagos. The role provides practical exposure to digital marketing, communications, social media management, campaign planning, email communications, basic website updates, research, data collection, and support for exams business development and events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns for Exams products
  • Assist with social media management, including content creation and scheduling
  • Contribute to email communications, marketing materials, and promotional content
  • Conduct market research and collect data to support marketing strategy and business development
  • Support coordination of marketing events, outreach activities, and internal communications
  • Assist with basic website content updates and track marketing campaign performance
  • Work with and report to the Senior Exams Marketing Manager

Required Qualification and Skills

  • BSc/HND (graduate level education)
  • NYSC discharge certificate or exemption certificate
  • Maximum of 3 years post-NYSC experience
  • Existing right to live and work in Nigeria
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
  • Computer literacy: MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proficiency with Canva (required/expected)
  • Interest in British Council examinations products and services
  • Core skills: communicating and influencing, planning and organising, using technology
