Job Description

Moniepoint Inc. is recruiting a DevOps Cloud Engineer Intern under its Women In Tech Internship Programme in Lagos. This paid 6-month internship offers hands-on exposure to cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices, supporting the setup and maintenance of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments, Kubernetes operations, CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, and monitoring for cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with setup, configuration, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure on GCP
• Support management of Kubernetes clusters including deployment, scaling, and monitoring
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines for automated application deployments
• Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or Ansible
• Collaborate with developers to ensure smooth application integration in cloud environments
• Help implement monitoring and logging solutions for cloud systems
• Participate in implementing security best practices and compliance standards for cloud infrastructure

Required Qualification and Skills

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
• Strong interest in cloud technologies, especially Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and containerization technologies
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Jenkins
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to learn quickly
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
