Job Description

Moniepoint Inc. is recruiting a Product Manager Intern under its Women In Tech Internship Programme in Lagos. This paid 6-month internship offers mentorship and real product-building experience, working closely with engineering to define requirements, manage delivery, improve customer experience, and contribute to fintech products used at scale across Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with engineering teams to create and improve products that meet customer needs
• Support implementation of technology required to meet business requirements
• Understand customer experience, identify product gaps, and propose new product ideas
• Build internal and external alignment for product vision and priorities
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
• Collaborate on products involving data pipelines, algorithms, and automated systems

Required Qualification and Skills

• 1 year of experience in software engineering or solutions architecture (preferred)
• Ability to assess and address technical risks during product delivery
• Strong collaboration skills across engineering, QA, operations, and other internal teams
• Strong problem-solving ability and readiness to take ownership
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Comfortable working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
