Job Description

Beta Glass Plc is recruiting an Instrumentation Supervisor in Agbara, Ogun State to oversee installation, testing, repair, and calibration of instrumentation and control equipment to ensure uninterrupted plant operations. The role supports process efficiency, cost optimization, compliance with management systems, and technical capacity building of the instrumentation team.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and calibrate process control instruments measuring temperature, pressure, level, flow, weight, and related parameters
• Ensure instrumentation and control equipment operate within specified limits to support hitch-free production
• Modify and repair machine/equipment controls to improve efficiency and reduce cost
• Plan and deliver on-the-job training for subordinates in line with training and manpower plans
• Monitor spare parts stock and initiate procurement at agreed re-order points
• Maintain records of instrumentation equipment that impacts product quality
• Ensure compliance with QMS, OHSAS, EMS, and other relevant management systems

Required Qualification and Skills

• BSc/HND in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Instrumentation & Control, or related discipline
• 4–6 years’ experience in a similar instrumentation/controls role (manufacturing/plant environment preferred)
• Strong knowledge of electronic machine operations and control systems
• Ability to read circuits, schematics, and technical drawings
• Strong troubleshooting skills with ability to analyze instrumentation/electronic faults and propose solutions
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
